The prettiest ethereal sheer silk georgette 1920's day dress I've come across.
The dress is lined with a crepe de chine blue silk that is built in like an underslip.
The neck has two layers of silk, the outer one forming a delicate cowl. Along the inner upper back is a beige cotton mesh lining.
At one time this dress had 3 tiers. The length is still very good at 2 tiers hitting most at or just below the knee.
There are no openings to this drop waist frock and must be pulled over the head.
The silk is very delicate but in very good condition considering she's 100 years old! The only sign is to the inner seam of the sleeves as shown. The seam is still strong but the edge of the fabric is slightly frayed. It kind of suits the ethereal nature of the dress. A new seam could easily be added.
There are also a few stains on the lining that are not visible when worn.
Best fits XS (0-2) no stretch and must fit slightly loosely to avoid breakage.
